SUBJECT: Introduction of Weekly Ferry Flight Program and Ferry Credits System

1. OVERVIEW

Operations is pleased to announce the launch of a new permanent feature — the Ferry Flight Program. Effective Monday 04 May 2026, a new ferry flight scenario will be published every Monday, inviting all pilots to participate in ferrying aircraft from seller to buyer across multi-leg routes spanning the globe.

This program operates independently of existing pilot ranks, tour awards, and group flight events.

2. OPERATIONAL CONCEPT

Each weekly ferry flight presents a complete aircraft transaction scenario — a real or plausible aircraft sale requiring the aircraft to be positioned from the seller's location to the buyer's across 3 to 6 legs. Full transaction details, a mission briefing, aircraft information, and route leg breakdown will be published on the Ferry Flights page each Monday.

Legs must be completed in sequence. A subsequent leg cannot be commenced until the PIREP for the preceding leg has been reviewed and accepted.

3. FERRY CREDITS (FC)

A new virtual currency — Ferry Credits (FC) — has been introduced exclusively for this program. Credits are awarded as follows:

Current Week

• Ferry Leg completion — 500 FC
• Full ferry completion bonus — 1,000 FC
• First pilot to complete the full ferry — 500 FC bonus
• Prescribed aircraft flown — 50 FC bonus

Archived Ferries

• Leg completion — 250 FC
• Full ferry completion bonus — 400 FC
• Prescribed aircraft flown — 50 FC bonus

A live Ferry Credits Scoreboard will display total FC balances, full ferry completions, and total legs flown across all participating pilots.

4. ARCHIVED FERRY FLIGHTS

All ferry flights remain accessible after their active week concludes. Archived ferries are permanently available and continue to award FC at the reduced archived rate. The leg sequencing requirement remains in effect for all archived flights.

5. AWARDS

The following awards are associated with the Ferry Flight Program:

• First Ferry Award — issued upon completion of a pilot's first full ferry flight
• Monthly Top Earner — awarded to the highest FC earner in each calendar month
• Annual Recognition — annual awards and prizes are planned for future implementation, details to be notified by separate NOTAM

6. EFFECTIVE DATE & FIRST RELEASE

The first ferry flight scenario will be published Monday 04 May 2026. All pilots are encouraged to review the Ferry Flights knowledge base article prior to that date for full program details and rules.

7. REMARKS

This program has been designed with community input. Feedback, questions, and suggestions are welcome via the usual community channels. Further NOTAMs will be issued as the program develops, including any updates to the credits structure, award criteria, or annual prize announcements.

Flights must be dispatched via the Ferry Flights webpage; they are not currently available for dispatch inside of SmartCARS 3.
